Ice Fishing - ya gotta try it! Minnesota winter catch - a 21" Northern Pike. This tasty beauty was reeled in my Mary Kay. People who have
never tried ice fishing usually add that they aren't going to try. Remember you are in an ice house. The heater
makes it very warm - all the outdoor clothing come off quickly. Then there is fish TV. You can watch the monitor
and see the strike on your hook. There's a bunk for taking a nap, don't worry the reels are mounted to the wall
and when the line moves the bells ring. You never get sunburned. Bowstring Lake is a natural fishery. It
is one of the best lakes in Minnesota, naturally, - it is not stocked by the MN DNR. We have winterized cabins
so an ice fishing weekend couldd be a nice Rx for your "cabin fever."
